Simon Robin

Admitted to the Bar in 2018, Simon Robin primarily practices in the field of professional law. He advises and represents professional orders and syndics in the application of their mandates, mainly in disciplinary and penal matters (unauthorized practice of a profession). He also acts as legal counsel in professional liability cases involving advanced knowledge of criminal law

Prior to joining the team, Simon Robin served as a crown prosecutor within the office of the Directeur des poursuites criminelles et pénales (DPCP). In this capacity, he was called upon to advise numerous police forces during their investigations. Drawing on extensive litigation experience, he has initiated and led multiple prosecutions before the courts. He has been a member of various specialized units, including the Bureau de la grande criminalité et des affaires spéciales. He was also part of the team assigned to murder cases within the Bureau des affaires de la jeunesse de Montréal.

Simon Robin currently teaches at the Faculty of Law of the Université de Montréal and has served as a lecturer at Université de Sherbrooke. He also acted as a guest speaker on many occasions and on a wide range of topics, including advocacy techniques, investigative methods, and the mandate of public prosecutions.
